Explore the Sounds and its people from our central location on foot, by boat or car. Sail, kayak, fish or swim from our sandy beach in crystal clear waters. You might relax too on our sunny deck, listen to Bellbirds and Tuis and watch them perform their antics.

Walk in Captain Cooks foot steps on famous Queen Charlotte Track, passing just above, it is great for day hiking and mountain biking or longer trips.

With your and our health in mind and because we like to live in a relatively unpolluted environment, we keep our place smoke free.

Tahi, our little, friendly Foxy cross bitch is keeping the possums at bay, after retiring from her rabbit hunting days on the farm.

Your hosts Erika & Eugen, keen travellers themselves, speak German as well and are looking forward to have you staying with us for a while.
